Appearance design

      

The front face of the ID3 adopts a closed design. The front LED headlights adopt a circular design with a honeycomb structure on the outside, plus LED daytime running lights depicting the outline of the light group, and a brand new Volkswagen logo connecting to both sides. The LED light strips in the headlights have a futuristic lighting effect.
On the side of the car body, a straight waistline extends from the front fender nameplate through the charging port cover to the taillight group, bringing a three-dimensional light and shadow effect to the side. The rear design of the car is extremely simple, and the overall visual effect is quite avant-garde; it does not use the popular one-piece taillight design, but uses LED taillight groups on both sides. Dynamic design
As for the battery, Volkswagen ID3 offers three endurance versions. The power battery is provided by CATL. The Pure version has a battery capacity of 45 kWh, the Pro version has a battery capacity of 58 kWh, and the ProS version has a battery capacity of 77 kWh. The battery capacity is WLTP. The mileage is 330km, 420km and 550km respectively. Electronic speed limit is 160km/h.
In order to balance the cost and market, the domestic Volkswagen ID3 uses only one battery pack, with a battery capacity of 57.3kWh, a NEDC range of 430km, a maximum motor power of 125kW, a peak torque of 310N·m, and fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 28 minutes.
