ZEEKR 009 adopts a new design style in appearance, the front face is very futuristic, and the vertically arranged daytime running lights simulate the middle grid style of traditional fuel vehicles, and the temperament is more like the middle grid design style of Rolls-Royce.The grille is flanked by split headlights, with daytime running lights in the shape of a door on the upper part, and headlamps connected to the air intake design below.The Zeekr 009 is the world’s first MPV equipped with an intelligent front grille, with a total of 154 independently controllable LED light sources, including the headlight cluster. Personalized and evolutionary “Fountain of Light” lantern language interaction.Each piece of matte chrome trim of the grille is carefully crafted to look angular and very textured, and has a different shadow visual effect from every angle.

Another focus is on the side design of the body, the body adopts the design of the short front cabin, the roof line and the waistline naturally extend down and up, forming an upward trend, with the unique line and surface design, in the “MPV world” can indeed be called a maverick.The side styling is boxy and imposing, and although it adopts the usual floating roof design, the C-pillar shape is very subtle and chic, highlighting the individuality of the side of the car.The A/B/C pillars of the body are concealed, giving the roof a floating effect, further enhancing the futuristic feel. The C-pillar features a vertical trim strip in the high-gloss chrome plating on the front to echo the exterior design.

In terms of taillights, ZEEKR 009 adopts the current popular through-type taillight design, with the ZEEKR logo in the middle, and the “Wings of Light” crystal LED taillights have a total of 402 LED light sources, and the visual effect after lighting is also very good.The interior of the taillights is also made of chrome trim strips, and the three details are unified.In addition, there are hidden rear wipers above the tail for visual consistency.

ZEEKR 009 is equipped with a dual permanent magnet synchronous motor power system, with a combined maximum power of 400kW and a maximum torque of 686Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and has a braking distance of 36.9 m at 100-0 km/h.
In terms of range, the current 116kWh battery pack CLTC declared by ZEEKR 009 has a range of 702km, which is already the MPV model with the longest pure electric range in terms of parameters.

ZEEKR 009 has a total of 5 driving modes: Comfort, Economy, Sport, Personalized, Snow, and Personalized, and the personalized mode can be individually adjusted for drive, braking, steering, and air conditioning. In addition, the air suspension setting has been reconstructed with the model and icon, making the adjustment more convenient and intuitive.

In terms of suspension, the 009 is equipped with a front double wishbone rear multi-link independent suspension system, with a fully automatic air suspension system, CCD electromagnetic damping system and hydraulic bushing, which takes into account the handling texture and chassis comfort in both directions. Although it is an MPV model, the entire suspension tuning is not too much for comfort, and the overall handling is not too soft, but has a certain toughness.

The NVH of the whole car is very quiet in Comfort and Economy mode, with only slight tire noise when passing over speed bumps and potholes.

In terms of intelligent assisted driving, it is expected that ZEEKR 009 will continue to use the 001 assisted driving hardware system. Powered by two of Mobileye’s latest SoCs, the EyeQ®5H, it features a surround vision system and other driver assistance decision-making and navigation technologies, as well as over-the-air updates.
Mobileye Q®5H is built on a 7nm process and delivers 20 times more computing power than the previous generation. ZEEKR 009 has an Eagle Vision Fusion Perception System, equipped with:
12 short-range ultrasonic radars;
15 HD cameras (7 x 8 million pixels + 4 fisheye surround views);
1 x 250m ultra-long-range millimeter-wave radar, with centimeter-level high-definition maps.

The 009 is also equipped with an antelope avoidance function. When there is a pedestrian next to the current lane, the vehicle will automatically slow down and pass like a human driver; If a pedestrian suddenly crosses the road at this point, the driver has more time to react.

If the driver does not react, the vehicle will also trigger the automatic braking function to prevent accidents. When the user turns on the LCC in the urban road environment, if there are many pedestrians on the side of the road, the vehicle will drive at a lower speed to ensure safety. And when there is a large vehicle in the adjacent lane, the vehicle will actively offset to one side.

When a stationary vehicle next to the lane is about to encroach on its own lane when it opens the door, the LCC will cause the vehicle to deviate a certain distance within the current lane, without affecting oncoming vehicles, and at the same time avoiding the risk of collision caused by other vehicles getting on and off the vehicle.

If a stationary vehicle on the side of the lane does not open the door, but the parking position is not reasonable, and a quarter of the vehicle body encroaches on the current lane, the LCC will also control the vehicle to deviate in the lane, eliminating the potential risk of collision like a human driver.
